Such is the case with
our Monprene? Ultrasoft Gel series materials.
Unique among thermoplastic elastomers, a
number of ultra-soft Monprene? gels have
been developed for applications that require
very soft tactile feel combined with strength.
Application examples include resilient industrial
cushions, vibration dampeners, and skin contact
applications where a soft interface is needed to
buffer a rigid substrate material. Monprene?
Ultra-Soft Gel series grades are softer than
Shore A and range from subzero (00) hardness
of 30 to 65, exhibit high strength as well as high
flow, and can be used in overmolding processes
in conjunction with polyolefin substrates.
