一 聚苯醚PPE 
　　聚苯醚化學(xué)名稱(chēng)為聚2,6-二甲基-1,4-苯醚， PPE（Polypheylene ether） 或簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)PPO（ Polyphenylene Oxide）。又稱(chēng)為聚亞苯基氧化物或聚苯撐醚，是一類(lèi)耐高溫的熱塑性樹(shù)脂。市場(chǎng)上通用的主要為改性的聚苯醚（Modified Polyphenylene Oxide），簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)MPPO，或者M(jìn)PPE（Modified Polypheylene ether）。由于習(xí)慣上，對(duì)聚苯醚和其改性共混聚合物都稱(chēng)為PPE（美國(guó)叫法）或PPO（日本叫法），本文也采用通俗稱(chēng)法：以下稱(chēng)為PPE或PPO。 
　　二、聚苯醚PPE特性 PPE是一種綜合性能優(yōu)良的熱塑性工程塑料，突出的是電絕緣性和耐水性優(yōu)異，尺寸穩(wěn)定性好。 
　　1.介電性能居工程塑料：PPE樹(shù)脂分子結(jié)構(gòu)中無(wú)強(qiáng)極性基團(tuán)，電性能穩(wěn)定，可在 廣泛的溫度及頻率范圍內(nèi)保持良好的電性能。其介電常數(shù)和介電損耗角正切是工程塑料中zui
　　小的，且?guī)缀醪皇軠囟?、濕度及頻率數(shù)的影響。其體積電阻率是工程塑料中zui高的。PPE的優(yōu)異電性能使其廣泛應(yīng)用于生產(chǎn)電器產(chǎn)品，尤其是耐高壓的部件，如彩電的行輸出變壓器（ FBT）等。 
　　2.良好的機(jī)械性能及熱性能：PPE子鏈中，含有大量的芳香環(huán)結(jié)構(gòu)，分子鏈感性較強(qiáng)。
　　樹(shù)脂的機(jī)械強(qiáng)度較高，耐蠕變性優(yōu)良，溫度變化影響甚小。PPE具有較高的耐熱性，玻璃化溫度高達(dá)211℃，熔點(diǎn)268℃。

　　3.優(yōu)異的耐水性：PPE為非結(jié)晶性樹(shù)脂，在通常的溫度范圍，分子運(yùn)動(dòng)少，主鏈中無(wú) 大的極性基團(tuán)，偶極矩不發(fā)生分極，耐水性非常好，是工程塑料中吸水率zui低的品種。在熱水中長(zhǎng)時(shí)間浸泡其物理性能仍有很少下降。 
　　4.阻燃性良好，具有自熄性：PPE的氧指數(shù)29，為自熄材料，而高抗沖擊性聚苯乙烯的氧指數(shù)17為易燃性材料，二者合一是具中等程度的可燃性，制造阻燃等級(jí)PPE時(shí)，不需要添加鹵素的阻燃劑，加入含磷類(lèi)阻燃劑即可達(dá)到UL94標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，減少對(duì)環(huán)境的污染。 
　　5.收縮率低，尺寸穩(wěn)定性好；無(wú)毒，密度小。 
　　6.耐介質(zhì)性和耐光性：PPE對(duì)酸、堿和洗滌劑等基本不受腐蝕，在受力的情況下，礦 物油及酮類(lèi)、酯類(lèi)溶劑會(huì)產(chǎn)生應(yīng)力開(kāi)裂；對(duì)有機(jī)溶劑如脂肪烴、鹵代脂肪烴和芳香烴等會(huì)使之融漲和溶解。PPE弱點(diǎn)是耐光性差，長(zhǎng)時(shí)間在陽(yáng)光或熒光燈下使用產(chǎn)生變色，顏色發(fā)黃，原因是紫外線能使芳香醚的鏈結(jié)合分裂所致。而如何改善PPE的耐光性成為一個(gè)課題。
　　三、聚苯醚（PPE）成型工藝 
　　PPE可通過(guò)注塑、擠出等工藝加工成各種制品： 
　　1.注塑：柱塞式或螺桿式注塑機(jī)都能加工PPE。一般采用螺桿式注塑機(jī)，要求長(zhǎng)徑比大于15：1，壓縮比1.7      ～4.0（一般采用2.5～3.5）。 
　　2.擠出：PPE能在擠出機(jī)上加工成管、片、棒、塊等。采用排氣式、長(zhǎng)徑比大的擠出機(jī)。
