◆丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物是由丙烯腈、丁二烯和苯乙烯組成的三元共聚物。簡稱ABS，A代表丙烯腈，B代表丁二烯，S代表苯乙烯。ABS通常為淺黃色或者乳白色的粒料非結晶性樹脂。 |
ABS樹脂是五大合成樹脂之一，其抗沖擊性、耐熱性、耐低溫性、耐化學藥品性及電氣性能優良，還具有易加工、制品尺寸穩定、表面光澤性好等特點，容易涂裝、著色，還可以進行表面噴鍍金屬、電鍍、焊接、熱壓和粘接等二次加工，廣泛應用于機械、汽車、電子電器、儀器儀表、紡織和建筑等工業領域，是一種用途極廣的熱塑性工程塑料。其將PS、SAN、BS的各種性能有機的統一起來，兼具韌，硬，剛相均衡的優良力學性能。 |
ABS的生產方法很多，可分為摻合法、接枝法、聯用法和接枝-摻合法四大類，約十一種制備工藝。目前大多采用的是乳液法，當前zui有廣闊發展前景的是乳液接枝摻合法。ABS通過改變三種單體的比例和采用的不同聚合方法，可制得各種規格的產品，其結構有以彈性體為主鏈的接枝共聚物，一般三種單體的比例范圍大致為丙烯腈25%~35%、丁二烯25%~30%和苯乙烯40%~50%。 |
ABS生產方法分為摻混法和接枝法。現在世界主要生產商大多采用先接枝再摻混的方法，此法有分為乳液接枝懸浮SAN摻混法和乳液接枝本體SAN摻混法。新興的本體接枝法無論從生產成本和對環境的影響都有很大的優勢，是今后研究的重點。 |
ABS根據沖擊強度可分為：超高抗沖擊型、高抗沖擊型、中抗沖擊型等品種； |
根據成型加工工藝的差異，又可分為：注射、擠出、壓延、真空、吹塑等品種； |
根據用途和性能的特點，還可以分為：通用級、耐熱級、電鍍級、阻燃級、透明級、抗靜電、擠出板材級、管材級等品種。 |

ABS系列產品的成型工藝
塑料ABS也可以說是聚苯乙烯的改性，比HIPS有較高的抗沖擊強度和更好的機械強度，具有良好的加工性能，可以使用注塑機、擠出機等塑料成型設備進行注塑、擠塑、吹塑、壓延、層合、發泡、熱成型，還可以焊接、涂覆、電鍍和機械加工。ABS的吸水性比較高，加工前需進行干燥處理，干燥溫度為70~85℃，干燥時間為2~6h；ABS制品在加工中容易產生內應力，如應力太大，致使產品開裂，應進行退火處理，把制件放于70~80℃的熱風循環干燥箱內2~4h，再冷卻至室溫即可。 |

1、ABS的熱變形溫度為93~118攝氏度，制品經退火處理后還可提高10攝氏度左右。 |
2、ABS在負40攝氏度時仍能表現出一定的韌性，可在負40~100攝氏度的溫度范圍內使用。 |
四、電學性能 |
ABS的電絕緣性較好，并且幾乎不受溫度、濕度和頻率的影響，可在大多數環境下使用。 |
五、環境性能 |
ABS不受水、無機鹽、堿和多種酸的影響，但可溶于酮類、醛類及氯代烴中，受冰乙酸、植物油等侵蝕會產生應力開裂。ABS的耐候性差，在紫外光的作用下易產生降解；于戶外半年后，沖擊強度下降一半。 |
