thermoplasticpolyester elastomers provide a winningcombinationfor many parts and components. They give the flexibility of rubbers, thestrength of plastics, and the processibility of thermoplastics. They can be processedeasily on conventional injection, blow and rotational moulding equipment, andcan also be extruded and melt-cast.
Keyflex TPC-ET特殊性能:
is ideal forparts requiring low flex fatigue and high loadbearing capacity. It is stronglyresistant to tearing, flex-cut growth,creep and abrasion. Its mechanical propertiesprovide the strength and stiffness you need, in addition to outstanding toughness.Its chemical properties make it highly resistant to hydrocarbons and many otherfluids.
Keyflex TPC-ET耐溫耐寒:
retains theseproperties at temperatures from –40°C to+110°C, and even up to +150°C withadditional heat stabilisers.
Keyflex TPC-ET硬度范圍/增強:
standardgrades are available in a full range of Shore D hardnesses from 35 to 82, as wellas high performance grades with hardnesses of 30D and 72D. Special gradesinclude heat stabilised, flame retardant, food approved, glass-reinforced, blowmoulding and extrusion grades. Concentrates offered include black pigments, UVprotection additives, hydrolysis resistant additives,heat stabilisers, andflame retardants.
Keyflex TPC-ET應用:
1. Keyflex® inAirbag Deployment Door application offers a unique consistency of physicalproperties over a wide range of temperature, it can be used in extreme lowtemperature environments and withstands the automotive interior requirementsincluding UV,aestetics.
2. Flexibilityin design, increased stiffness without adding weight or thickness, and animpeccable performanceat all temperatures was reason enough for the people atSalomon to choose HYTREL® for the energy spring of their in-line skate.
3. Keyflex®proved to be the answer for the interior door handle in the restyled SEATToledo. Besides a nice,soft touch and matt surface, SEAT was looking for veryspecific mechanical and chemical properties. The possibility of moulding theDuPont elastomer in a tool that was designed for the previously used acetalcopolymer meant a significant cost saving, as Keyflex® has similar mouldshrinkage.
4. The SuehiroIndustry Co. Ltd knows all about “zapping”. Their change to Keyflex®, from thetraditional silicone rubber for keypads of remote controls resulted in shorterproduction cycles, increased designflexibility and an ideal“feel”. “Analtogether superior class of product” is how Suehiro’s development managerdescribes Keyflex®.
5. UsingKeyflex®, Paguag developed
a range offlexible coupling with longer service life, greater reliability and betterperformance. Keyflex® has very good resistance to synthetic oil, water, grease,ozone and many other
chemicals. Italso has excellent resistance to flex fatigue and crack propagation and maintainsthese properties over a wide range of temperatures.
6. The Keyflex®HTR8105 BK in CVJ boots put an end to a very costly and complicated repair incase of failure during the life of the car. These CVJ boots for the Ford Mondeomoulded by ContiTech in Germany, are extremely cost-effective compared to theirrubber counterparts, and offer superior toughness and resistance to greases.
7. Another Keyflex® application in automotive components is the blowmoulded air-duct madeof Keyflex® HTR4275 BK. VW has adopted this innovative technology and benefits
for noisereduction, light weight and an overall reduction of the number of parts in theengine compartment, due to its multi-functionality. By using these parts,engine performance can be improved by as much as 2%.
