中空成型
中空成型是樹脂的成型方法,一般的硫化橡膠成型不能應用,而TPV材料可采用這種方法。如汽車用齒條和齒輪護罩,用TPV替代氯丁橡膠,采用中空成型方法可使該部件的成本降低30%一40%,且可輕量化,制品性能也有所改善;用于汽車凈化的空氣通風管,采用三維交換吹塑成型技術能夠一邊切斷TPV和聚丙烯,一邊吹氣擠出(管子的兩端采用TPV以提高密封性;管子的其他腹部使用交聯型TPE以改善屈撓疲勞性和柔軟性;為降低成本和保持一定的剛性,在管子的直線部位使用PP) [5]。以往由幾個工件組合使用的部件可用一個工件代替,可大幅度縮減組合工序。此外,中空成型技術也在以一般吹氣擠出為基礎進行技術革新,開發成型精度良好的注射吹氣成型、模壓吹氣成型等新技術。
