IROSTIC? is Huntsman's trade name for a polyurethane-based raw material used to manufacture TPU adhesives. Available as a mono- or two-component system, the range serves core markets including: solvent-based footwear adhesives; industrial specialty adhesives; non-reactive and reactive hot melt adhesives.
IROSTIC? bonding solvent-based systems can be used on surfaces that have been pre-treated by roughening or wiping with a solvent. They can be applied using manual brushes, rollers and spatulas or mechanical spray and air guns. IROSTIC? non-reactive hot melt grades can also be applied as powder or a film.
